I design identities for organisations, projects and campaigns of all shapes and sizes. Creating solutions that are flexible, functional and in tune with audiences.
There's so much that goes into a print run – paper choice, print processes, finding the ideal format, choosing the right printer, keeping things cost effective, and getting the artwork just right.
I regularly work on all sorts of print runs, from 300 luxury invitations, to 30,000 festival programmes.
The online world is constantly evolving but some things never change – good design helps to elevate brands and engage audiences, whether it's through advertising, social media or a website.
I can work with a developer to bring online projects to life, and even build websites myself (when it makes sense to do so).
Creative, instructional or diagrammatic; illustrations and pictograms can really bring a project to life, enhance understanding and communicate a feeling.
I often provide illustrated solutions myself, or I can help find the right illustrator for a particular job.
Good typefaces are great to work with, but I also love creating bespoke typographic solutions – giving identities, projects and campaigns their own individual look and feel.
Based in Edinburgh. Made in Dundee.
I'm a graphic designer who believes in effective and engaging communication. A lot of my work is in the cultural sector, which I really enjoy, but I also love to help businesses grow.
I graduated from Edinburgh College of Art in 2007 and have been working in design ever since, at first in agencies and now in my own practice (which has been running for seven years now).
